Clients often default or delay fee payments. All lawyers face this problem.
Fee defaults and delays are tolerable for senior lawyers, but junior lawyers suffer.
For a lawyer trying to establish a new practice, even one or two defaulting clients may force him to pay rent from personal savings. Worse, collection follow-ups waste a lot of time and take away from productive work.
We designed House Court to solve this problem, by collecting fees from clients in advance into an escrow account. The lawyer gets paid immediately on completion of the work. Clients are also comforted by the escrow, as they are only paying for completed work.
The House Court Platform ensures that lawyers get paid on time and eliminates the fear of default. Lawyers free up time from collection follow-up to work on their cases and to get new clients.
